The Audi TT is a pocket supercar made by Audi AG, since 1998, a German automobile manufacturer that designs, engineers, produces, markets and distributes luxury automobiles.
The Audi TT is assembled by the Audi subsidiary Audi Hungaria Motor Kft. in Gyor, Hungary, using bodyshells manufactured and painted at Audi’s Ingolstadt plant. This changed with the third generation model that uses parts made entirely by the Hungarian factory.
The Audi has been produced in three versions:
Mk1: 1998–2006
Mk2: 2006–2014
Mk3: 2014–present
Audi has been a majority owned subsidiary of Volkswagen Group since 1966.
