Audi TT Coupe 1.8 T Quattro Future Classic

The Audi TT Coupe soon to be taken off new sale is sure to become a future classic.

The first-generation Audi TTs (Type 8N) built between 1998 and 2006 may be the first model to appreciate in desirability and price. The 250 PS (247 HP) 3.2 VR6 quattro launched in 2003 and the 240 PS (237 HP) 1.8 T quattro Sport special launched in 2005 are also likely to become sort after.

The TT 1.8 T quattro features a transverse-mounted 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine rated at 225 PS (222 HP) at 5,900 rpm and 280 Nm (207 lb-ft) of torque available between 2,200 and 5,500 rpm.

In combination with the standard six-speed manual transmission and quattro Haldex all-wheel-drive system, the turbo-four unit enabled the Audi TT to go from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 243 km/h (151 mph).

The top of the range model, the Audi TT 1.8 T quattro was very well equipped. Features include automatic air conditioning, leather sports steering wheel, Audi Concert stereo system, heated front seats, folding rear seats, power mirrors and windows, Xenon headlights with washers, tinted glass and more.
